The Story Behind

ReGlo

Re-establishing your glow, one woman at a time.

Chapter One

I've stood in that mirror too.

As a midwife, I have spent years holding hands in delivery rooms, guiding new life into the world, and witnessing the extraordinary strength of women at their most raw and vulnerable. But there was a moment — standing in my own bathroom, post-birth, staring at a reflection I barely recognised — when something shifted in me.

The woman looking back had thinning hair at her temples. Dark shadows carved beneath her eyes. A body that had moved mountains and yet felt foreign, unfamiliar. She looked tired in a way that sleep alone couldn't fix.

I knew exactly what she'd been told. It's normal. It'll pass. Just give it time.

"Normal doesn't mean we have to simply accept it. Normal doesn't mean we stop deserving to feel beautiful." — Founder, ReGlo

Chapter Two

What no one tells you.

Day after day in my practice, I would meet women in the weeks and months after birth. And behind every tired smile was the same quiet grief — the sense that they had lost themselves somewhere in the beautiful chaos of becoming a mother.

Hair loss that filled the shower drain. Bodies that felt unfamiliar. Skin that had changed. A confidence that had quietly slipped away. And everywhere, the same dismissal: "It's just postpartum. It's normal."

Yes — these changes are common. But common does not mean women should be left to navigate them alone, without support, without tools, and without someone looking them in the eye and saying: you still deserve to feel like yourself.

The moments that built ReGlo.

01

The client who stopped looking in mirrors.

She told me she'd covered every mirror in her home. Not out of vanity — out of a deep sadness at not recognising the woman staring back. That conversation never left me.

02

The mother who whispered "I miss me."

Three words. Said so quietly, so ashamed — as if wanting to feel like herself again was something she had to apologise for. It broke my heart open.

03

My own reflection, on an ordinary Tuesday.

When I finally admitted to myself that I, too, had been dimming — going through the motions, showing up for everyone else while quietly disappearing from myself. I had to do something.

04

The moment ReGlo was born.

Not in a boardroom. Not on paper. But in a quiet, honest conversation with myself — and the decision that women deserve a space designed entirely around helping them find their glow again.
